TrueCap® MK-2 Capacitance Probe

For solid state level indication to work in almost any bulk material application, the TrueCap® Capacitance Probe is the answer.  Easy One-Step Calibration is done with the push of a button.  No need to calibrate to air, and then material, and then recalibrate when the temperature shifts more than 30°.  The micro-processor based electronics are immune to any changes in temperature, humidity or other environmental variables.

False signals from material build-up or stringy material hanging on the probe have been big historical issues with capacitance probes.  The MK-2 uses a driven shield and four signal settings to ignore build-up on the probe, eliminating false signals and “necessary” cleaning of the probe.
