The exclusive Boss Tank Flat Panel design provides a “smooth wall” interior surface and NO LEAK bolted silo design which outdates existing API flanged tanks. 

Our Flat Panel Bolted Tanks have lap seams horizontally as well as vertically; they are virtually “leak free”. There is no interior ledge for product hang-up or flanges to make sealing a problem.

Problems with Old API Flanged Bolted Silos

• API flanged bolted tanks are stressed, at the gasket/flange point, by the internal, product pressure.
• Worn tooling produces flanges of less than 90-degrees, thereby creating more stress on the gasket as internal pressurizes this area.
• Scaffolding must be erected around the bolted silo, sometimes 100’ off grade to install, creating a safety liability.
• Flanges collect material and water thereby rusting

• Flat panel overlap uses internal silo pressure to form a tighter seal.
